born in portugal, raised in england, i’m a self-taught artist exploring the relationship between music, memory and identity. my hand-painted digital music plaques turn albums that shaped me into physical and intractive pieces, bringing together the sounds, cultures and stories that i grew up with.

Why I am an outsider artist

as a kid i started by drawing on my mum's walls and i’ve always created outside of traditional art spaces. self-taught and never followed a conventional route into the art world. during lockdown with materials i already had, i turned old photo frames into my first digital music plaques.
