Diagnosed as Autistic in my late-40's changed my life significantly, and I re-embraced photography as a way of helping me process my diagnosis. While I have built a second career as an events and music photographer, I have retained a deep love of experimentation within the medium.

Why I am an outsider artist

No formal training, yep, I tick that box, but more importantly photography itself is an outsider art form, having always struggled to be recognised as a true artistic medium. With my experimental work I hope to demonstrate that the tools used matter less than the passion with which they are used.
