My work explores identity as it is shaped by memory, emotional response, and lived struggle. I am particularly interested in the spaces of disconnection—what is excluded, erased, or unseen—and how those absences define us.

Why I am an outsider artist

I create from the perspective of someone who has occupied the margins. Being an outsider in the art world feels like another closed door that only opens from the inside. The confidence to break through is hard fought and lonely but the need to be able to share in those experiences is compelling.
