Harrie Dearing

Hi im Harrie Co-founder of Studio BRUT. I am a Multidisciplinary Artist. Working with Fine art, multimedia and immersive storytelling. My artwork often takes on a life of its own and falls into the world of expressionism, and abstraction, because of my Aphantasia. I'm also a huge nerd and love to explore the interplay of science and art. By sharing my work, I hope for others to find light in the dark.

Why I am an outsider artist

Well I'm a bit of a weirdo , that took a weird path to get here. I have no formal art training. My background is in contemporary devised theatre with a degree in World Performance. This is why storytelling sits at the core of my work. BUT I have been making art since I could hold a crayon… I also have a wild mix of neuro spice and disability sprinkled on top too. The path is as unconventional as my brain and my eclectic works.
