Thank you, Tap Social

A quick one, but an important one.

The bar on opening night is looking a lot healthier today. A load of beer has arrived from Tap Social Movement, an Oxford brewery who I asked, more in hope than expectation, if they’d help us out.

Ed said yes, sorted it, and had it here for the 15th without any fuss.

Here’s why it matters to us that it’s them. Tap Social is a social enterprise that creates training and employment for people in prison and prison leavers. Their line is “everyone benefits when no-one is excluded from work”, and you can see why that lands with us. We’re an art studio for artists the art world walked past.

So when you have a drink on opening night, that’s Tap Social in your glass, alongside Arkell’s, our other generous local. Say cheers to them.

Thank you Ed, and everyone at Tap Social. Come and see us in Swindon sometime, the door’s open.

Come to opening night: book your free ticket here.

Bye for now,
